Deere Mid Mount Mower Deck

Bought a used 60" mower deck for my 855 this week. Looking for anybody who would have a copy of the owners manual that they would be willing to share. Needs a bit of work and a couple of parts, but a good deal at the price.
If anybody has the attaching brackets spare, would be interested in buying those.

JD owners manuals are available pretty cheap from Deere. Call

(800) 522-7448 Be sure to have model # and serial number.

You need to register. You can see the prices once you put the parts in your "shopping basket"

There are two things you need. The Operator's Manual which shows you how to use the MMM and the Parts Catalog which shows exploded views of the MMM and associated part numbers. I have both for the 60" MMM on my 1987 755. The 855 used the same deck. Not sure what year the deck is that you have. The model number of my deck is MO2732. The model number should be the first few digits of a long number that is on a data plate riveted to the deck. I just rebuilt my deck about a month ago.

I've seen one in the last week or two a mower manual on ebay. Just do a search on John Deere 855.

The 755 & 855 do use the same MM deck, but the linkage, front bracket & driveshaft are different.
