I bought a 4400 with the mid-mount hydraulic kit parts in a box with no installation instructions. I believe the kit number is BM19583 or others have referred to it as a hydraulic kit 1000. I've got the instructions for the actual hydraulics and operating controls but not the brackets and lift cylinder. Any help would be appreciated.

Call you local dealer or go over there and speak to the parts people. They can assist you in ordering the rest of the parts. It might come in a kit, that might be less expensive than purchasing individual parts.

Welcome to TBN:D

I am not sure I understand what exactly your looking for? Do you need parts or just the installation instructions? You can get pictures of the parts from JDParts.com, and your dealer can order any manuals for you.

I believe I have all the parts for the mid-mount kit I'm just not sure how they go together. I've been to two different dealers in southeastern Michigan and neither could find any installation instructions in their files or on-line. I can't believe it would be this hard to find installation instructions.

I sent a note to a friend and fellow forum member who has this same setup to see if he can help you. I thought all the mounting instructions for the lift kit where in the manual for the mower...

Sawzmost: I'm the guy Kenny mentioned! We put a mmm on my 4400 this spring. I bought the mmm and sandblasted it and repainted it before installing. The only way I got this on was to have the manual for the mower. It is available from Deere publications, but it takes time. It is very valuable for installing and it also tells you how to adjust it to you don't damage it.

Is there a chance you can send up pics of what you got with it so we can start? It's not hard, there are two brackets that go onto the transmission, and the mower swing arms go onto that. The hyd cylinder (you need power beyond 3rd valve) connects to the rear outlet, and the cylinder raises the rear lift arms. There are two brackets that go onto the front of the tractor, I have attached the drawing for that. I'd also suggest going to the JD parts site, they show everything, and that is how I got things going.

guys, thanks for the help, I finally figured it out. The kit I bought was anniversal that fit mid mount and rear three point lift. I saw a 4400 with mid mount and it only uses 5 of the 20 brackets that I have. thanks, Bill.
