Deere 4210: PTO off-seat operation doesn't work.

I have a 4320, the next series of compact tractor after the 10 series. I can operate the rear PTO while off the seat doing all of the above steps. What I see missing is is selecting the rear pto only. I have a mid pto and a rear pto. I have either the rear pto alone with the selector lever and or both the mid and rear pto again with the selector lever. When the selector lever is in the both position the off seat, operation of the pto's will not work. It only works when I select the rear pto separately. Later

Just for info on the above, I do not need to put the hydo transmission in netural to make the off seat pto engage.

Completely agree, the seat switch is critical. Otherwise you get run over if you hit the pedals when you are standing next to the tractor. I've got little kids so the seat switch needed to work. One point of note: Mine doesn't die when you hit the pedals, it just flashes the seat code on the...
