Deciphering 2320/2520 serial # model year?

So I know the LV is for the Augusta, GA factory, and the 2320 is model and the H is hydrostatic, and I believe the first digit is for the model year run of the particular model, and the last 5 the number off the line that year. So in the case of a 2320 what year does a 2 signify if the above is correct?

Tractordata shows the 2320 first being manufactured in 2006. If you want to post or email/PM me the SN I will run it for you and find out the exact manufacturing date.

Your discussion proved to be a big help to me. The identification-number tag on my recently-purchased JD 5225 is badly corroded, so the first 4 digits of the number are gone. And it took some work to make the other numbers show up. You guys helped me complete the number: 'LV' for Augusta, GA; and '52" for the first two numbers of my model. And TractorData.com nailed down the build year to 2006.
