Deciding between 3 ZRT's!!!

In my price range i have narrowed it down to these 3:

SCAG (Freedom Z) 42' w Kawasaki
SNAPPER (550Z) 60' w Kawasaki twin
HUSTLER (Raptor SD) 54' w Kawasaki


I have a 2 acre RUGGED lot. I need something durable that cuts nice and even. THANK YOU for your help!

First, welcome.

I do not have direct experience with any of the three ZTRs. Others with experience will likely chime in.

If you have a "rugged" lot, the width of cut will affect the quality of cut. For example, if your lawn has swales, dips, etc., a narrow ZTR will provide a cleaner cut. The downside is that it is going to take you longer to mow. I opted for a wider cut and less time mowing when I bought my ZTR.

I agree with SMS, narrower is better the farther from flat you get. I also find it interesting that you're comparing three different brands all with 3 different deck widths. Pick a width and pick a brand separately. 42" does sound a bit narrow for 2 acres and you should not need 60", no seat time! 48" or 54" should be good.

Thanks guys!! All these mowers are 48'+ inches.....I accidently wrote 42. My decision is just based on all 3 mowers and there all close in price.

Me too. But that Kawasaki twin would have to be awfully big to run it.
