I've got a Dearborn 2 btm 3 pt plow that was often run behind the Ford 8Ns and such. Well I don't have the N anymore but still would like to use this plow behind my now larger CAT 2 hitch tractor BUT the pin on one side of the plow is too short and has since been cutoff. My question is how is that 3pt pin attached? The other side pin just bolts right on through the 1" thick cross piece but this side was either threaded into the crosspiece or maybe swedged in? If I can get the stub out I can figure out a way to replace it with a longer pin - and perhaps a CAT2 or at least bush it.

I don't have a pic handy but maybe my description is good enough

I guess I would say "sort of" like that. My crosspiece actually fits through the rectangular slot you can see right above the beam but first picture does show how the pin is fitted - although mine has been cut off flush with the end of the bar. Now I just need to get it out!
