I am having a problem with a dealer. I put down a 10% down payment on a new 3520 Tractor,FEL, 60"MMM. and a 5' bushog. Ever since he got my money he has stalled about a delivery date. Parts were ordered 3 weeks ago and arrived last Tuesday. I was told the Tractor would be set up immediately and delivered next day. Wednesday I was in the area and went by to check on progress. NO work on Tractor but parts were there I was told. Talked to Salesman who took my money and asked about delivery date. He checked with shop and said Tractor would definitely be ready Friday and he would call to set up time so I would be home. Friday came and went and no Tractor; not even the courtesy of a phone call to explain. Needless to say Saturday Morning I got on the phone with the dealer. He was busy so he did not return my call for 2 hrs. When I got on the line with him he immediately started with excuses. I was not in the mood for this and My reply was dont call again until the Tractor is ready and I hung up. I have been mad and disgusted all weekend. I am trying to decide what to do. My wife says calm down and try to work it out. I have owned John Deere Equipment 30 yrs. and My Dad was a John Deere Dealer until he died. I have saved a long time for a tractor and I have never been treated this bad ever. Now I am trying to find info on a J.D. Rep. to let them know my problem. At this point I am seriously thinking of asking for my money back and running as fast as I can. If this the service before the sale I dont think I can put up with it. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest.
