Has anyone here bought a tractor from Barnett Tractor Company in New Market, Alabama.

I would like to hear comments both positive and negative.

I have gotten a few from him and they have all been top knotch. Bill is very meticulous when it comes to preparing his tractors for sale.

I was going to go to Barnett, I had gotten a price from him on e-mail. But I thought I would go to Maynard on the way as he had gave me a price also on e-mail. He was a lot cheaper. After I saw what he had, I didn't need to go anywhere else. Gordon there is very good to deal with and you will save enough to pay you to go there. That is where I bought mine, and had it delivered 300 miles to my home. If I were to buy another one, that is where I would go again. I saved more than enough to pay for the shipping from there also. And his tractors are good, he has been in business a long time. I understand that Barnett started out working for him, years ago.

I forgot to mention, that is Maynard Equipment Co. in Brownsboro, AL, just a few miles from Barnett.

Bill ordered his first container a short time before Tom did. In fact, Tom and I helped him unload his first container.

purchased seven yanmar's from Barnett Tractor Co. the past year. Prices were equal or less than other sources and cosmetics and condition were superior to his competition. Would suggest checking with Bill and larry before commiting to any small tractor purchase. IMHO
