Reminds me of the old question... " Why do men die before their wives...??" and the answer... " because they WANT TO..!!! " :)

Another vote for DST - personally I love it and wish they would move it forward an LEAVE it that way.

My body is and has always been on daylight savings time...what we are going to tonight...Now I will wake up and it will be the right time...every year we go through this and while my clocks may say it is 4AM my body and mind say it is 5AM ....or whatever , so now for a time my body and the clocks will be in sync....I wish we could just stay with this time change...this time...an leave it alone.:confused3:

Here in Saskatchewan, Canada, we're like Arizona, Hawaii, and few other places that don't change their clocks. Every couple of years we have a debate/fight over whether we should change. It confuses businesses that have to phone us, but otherwise it's what we're used to. Some people want evenings with another hour of sunshine.

Why do you think tractors are so popular?

Aw hellll, swmbo is going to lose an hour of overtime tonight.

I would be happy to stay on the same time year-round. When the time gets set back in the fall it seems to mess me up for a while. It really messes with my sense of time during daylight savings. I can usually tell the time of day within a half-hour by looking where the sun is, but switching times confuses that.

I wish it would just stay the same.

It messes me up twice a year, because my alarm clock automatically adjusts for DST based on the OLD time change, so we set it ahead an hour tonight, and in a couple weeks we will forget and it will automatically adjust forward an hour again.
I vote for keeping DST all year round.

Wish they would leave clocks alone. If anything, get the boss to let work 7-4. Would accomplish the same for me.

I feel your pain because we have a clock radio that does the same thing except it doesn't have any way to manually set it (Wally World Chinese special). Just have to wait several days until the OLD DST schedule matches the NEW DST schedule. :confused2:

The time change takes about 6 hours at work to change...

Everything from Security Systems, Phones, Clocks, Office Machines, Patient Monitors, Sterilizers, etc... a few items will need another go round because they have the old DLST internal clocks...

Reset all the clocks this morning, total was 21. :cuckooclock:

YES! Just stay the same.

Funny thing is that NONE of the local paper's web sites I read mentioned the DST change over this morning. That was really odd. I wonder how many people will be messed up with the time change because it was not as widely announced....

Later,
Dan

I actually prefer Daylight Savings time (more light in the evenings). Although, really time is just a number.

I would also prefer if they just left the clocks the same. I decided not to change a couple of the clocks in my house last fall....
So, I'm all set for this spring :)

I found today that DST actually costs me time. Went out to split wood, half way through remembered I hadn't set my watch so did it. When I finished I found it had taken me 3 hours to accomplish what I normally do in 2.
