Makes my palms sweat just watching that! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I don't have an irrational fear of heights, but I get nervous even from behind the safety of a gaurd rail at places like Lookout Mtn. or Little River Canyon.

Yeah, that is unbelievable !!! I saw that video a few weeks ago and just couldnt comprehend how someone could climb at that rate! I really like the part when he actually leaps up in the air about 3 ft and grabs another hand hold about 500 ft up the cliff /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

OK--my fear of heights is QUITE rational. I couldn't finish the video. When he jumped for the next handhold who-knows-how-many feet up, that was the end for me. It is not possible for me to fathom that someone would willingly do that.

I have no problem with heights --- as long as I'm not going to fall more then 1 to 2 feet. Anymore then that and I could get seriously hurt. Seriously, one mistake and he's dead. He knows that so he does not make mistakes. I wish my confidence was that elevated.
