d4000 fuse

my tractor has a blown fuse anyone know the size of the fuse its the # 1 fuse, its a little metal thing

If your eyes are like mine you will need a magnifying glass but it should be written on the fuse. You might have to polish it a little.

If all else fails, use a 10 amp and if that blows rapidly then you have a short, otherwise most circuits should support 10 amps except the glow plugs which draw high amps.
15 amps should be relatively safe as well as most wireing is probably 16 guage.
