what kind of oil do you use int he gearbox on one of these, it seems like it is in common with the hydraulic.

this is one of those gray market jobs,

well i cant answer for sure but if its like mine it uses the same fluid from the transmission for the hydraulics. mine uses tractor hydraulic and transmission fluid. i know napa supplys it. thanks jack

yep that is right. jd20 or equavalent hydralic/transmission fluid.use the same for mitsubishi d1850.

well i just checked my container i got from jd dealer.it just says hydralic /transmission fluid with part #ar69444. there are not too many tractor dealers around here.i had to get what was available here.plus if u do not have a front end loader attached u could use a gear oil.manual says SAE 20,for above 14 degrees f. or below 14 degrees f sae 10w.bill at www.satohparts. com have a lot of answers but u have to call or e mail him.
