forget what everyone is telling you hehehe. Just take a digital camera with you and take pictures of them and if he asks you what your doing tell him you want to show them to your wife before you buy one. Post the pictures on here and all us Yanmar experts, lovers and wannabees can see them.

It will be even better than my Vietnamese tractor post that demonized every corner tractor dealer to the New World Order Plan to confiscate all the Yanmars in the US.

I can hardly wait to see the pictures, please hurry!!

<font color=red>When you check back, ask whoever is selling these what happened to the traction tread on the front tires if they are ribbed as all 2wd tractors are tired. Ask him to show you the 4wd "On/Off" lever and if he can't find it maybe he'll tell you its a full time 4wd Yanmar. Just for fun.

<font color=black> This 1501D in question has turfs, and as for a 4wd lever.. heck.. it has the standard 'dead' front axle/spindles... no xfer case.. no front drive shaft, etc. Unless the the whole front of that tractor was re-worked.. it came as a 2wd, and has the wrong sticker plate on it.

As for the decals.. the 1501D are all the same looking decal.. no irregular 'D'.

If I get there today, I'll take my camera with me.

Please talk to the dealer he may have a perfectly good reason for the decals and might not be the devil.

Ask him whether you should get a 4wd model or not. Look at the models, ask him what the D stands for. If he is intelligent, he will not try to represent them as 4wd (too easy to prove that its not a 4wd). I bet he will disclaim knowlege of the D but might give you a web site that contains information (so that you can infer they are 4wd, but he has never said it).
