D-160 mower

My D-160 has an issue. It will not start unless you jump the starter solenode. I have replaced the solenode, brake safely switch. Battery is showing 12.6 amps. Any suggestions?

Have the battery load tested. Think that may be the problem.

You can load test a battery yourself. Just hold the volt meter on the battery and attempt to crank the machine and see if the battery can maintain above 12v while cranking.

Since it starts by jumping starter solenoid I suspect there are other safety switches and that one of them is the problem.
Places to check:
Seat switch
Deck engagement: usually a switch to show deck is off
Possibly clutch brake switch

One would assume that the fuse is good if it runs when jumpered across the solenoid. That is unless the little solenoid below the carb isn't working. The fuse is near the battery. Anyways besides the brake switch, the PTO switch is also in the crank circuit. Best advise would be to remove the terminal blocks from the key switch and the PTO and look for a damaged / corroded terminal.
