Tractor
CX2510 with FEL
Hey. Just bought a new cx2510 ROPS. This tractor adds a clutch for me compared to my old cs2410.

This new tractor requires that the HST high low range selector is in neutral AND the clutch has to be depressed to start it. This is overkill and I will disconnect the high low range lever needing to be in neutral to start. As soon as someone tells me which wire to cut, or to add plausible denyability you could tell me what wire NOT to cut, wink wink nudge nudge.

I'm all for safety but this is overkill.

I have a Kubota with HST myself. The manual says shift to neutral and depress the clutch. I have found I needn't shift to neutral, depressing the clutch is enough. Of course if I'm pressing the "go" pedal it may refuse to start but that's a different issue entirely.

No Sir, this unit requires it to be shifted into neutral. Which I can fully understand if the tractor had no clutch like my last SCUT.

I wonder if this would disable the kill switch effect when you jump off the machine while in gear without the parking brake set.

I've already disconnected the seat switch.
