Current replacement for type"A" hydraulic fluid

I've got a 1965 MF 202/204 industrial series backhoe/loader. The original owner's manual specifies type"A" hydraulic fluid. This oil is only used for the loader/backhoe attachments and has nothing to do with the actual tractor itself {it has one of Massey's first 'automatic' or power-reverser transmissions}. What is the current oil for this application? NAPA has suggested a 'TDH oil'.

Type A hydraulic fluid is just dextron II transmission fluid,
