Hey Granitestate. What dealer did you purchase yours from? and do you know if someone from out of state bought one from there would there still be no sales tax?
Thanks

Cub Cadet customer service indicated to me that they don't go by date of assembly - they go by date of original delivery to dealer. So if it was first delivered to a dealer in 2009, then the tractor is considered a 2009.

New Boston Truck and Equipment on Rt. 13. There is no sales tax in NH period, no matter where you are from. But, if you have to register the tractor in your home state, you may be hit for sales tax at that time. It's like if a Mass. resident bought a car in NH, even though they didn't pay tax, they would be charged when they register it Mass. I suppose it depends on state laws. If you don't have to register it in your state, then it's probably a savings on your part!

Keep in mind, the price I paid is based on a cash sale. If you are financing, the price will be higher, I believe.

I'm curious about your EX3200. You have had this now for a few months. I'd like to hear about your comments on it so far. Any complaints or drawbacks? How about the plus side of your tractor?

Thanks,
Jim R.

Jim, I have had no issues with my tractor as of yet. I don't use it like some others, but it has been great for all the small jobs I've thrown at it. It's just the right size to get down into my wooded area and articulates well around all the trees. I did get it hung up at one point where the left front was up on a stump and the right rear was on a rock. That left the other two wheels hanging in mid air and me rocking back and forth! I just used the FEL to sort of pick up the front end and push me off the stump. Just another day in the seat!

I like the two separate pedals for forward and reverse as opposed to the "rocker" style like some others. The FEL controls are decent; your hand sort of falls on them without having to reach out or extend your arm. At least it does for me, although I'm 6'2" and have long arms. All the controls are user friendly. I really don't have any dislikes as of yet. I'm still sort of "feeling it out" and pushing it a bit harder each time. I recently removed a few stumps and a couple of them were pretty tough. But it did well enough for a tractor its size. Now, mind you, these were not huge stumps, mostly 6-8 inch trees. But still, it beat hacking them out like I used to do!

But, really no problems. Starts right up, runs all day on little fuel and never complains. I'm looking forward to this winter when I will test it quite a bit. That's when it's true colors will show.

Thanks for your inquiry.

That is good to hear that your EX3200 is a nice machine. I hope to move up to a bigger tractor in a few years. I wish I had bought a bigger tractor when I bought my Cub Cadet 7275. Now it will be just trying to figure out how big of a machine that I really need. I like the 7275 because it is only 5 feet wide and can manuever around just about anything.
