Curl cylinder on 8TL loader for bobcat 335 tractor nut removal.

Anyone with experience in removing the aluminum nut on the curl cylinder of an 8TL loader? The seal is leaking and I have the kit to replace. I’m having trouble removing the nut on the cylinder. I even purchased a spanner wrench. I can’t seem to break it. Any suggestions?

I see there are two different options for the 8tl. I am familiar with the wire ring retainer version but not the spanner wrench type. Does the nut have this type of nut or something similar? J.W. Winco GN 1804.1 Slotted Spanner Lock Nuts, Steel, with Polyamide Insert, Zinc Plated, M15 X 1

Yes, very similar. Only two notches and the notches are only half way thru the nut which makes it nearly impossible to use the scanner wrench. I was finally able to break it loose with channel locks. Thanks for checking.
