curl cylinder for vtek v2

Hello, I have a vtek v2 loader with a bad curl cylinder. I had it rebuilt but it only held for 10 hours. Would anyone know where I could buy a new cylinder for it.

You will need the bore, shaft, closed and open lengths in standard and metric. With those a good hydraulic store can get or make one. The standard vs metric is to ensure they both match.....and unfortunately they could be made to either standard depending on source.

If it is too tough and or expensive to find one that matches, you may end up with two new ones that are close.

Thats what I needed to know. I don't have a problem ordering a pair if needed. .Was hoping someone had needed to replace them and knew which ones would work.

Is it in bad shape? I ask because the rebuild should last a lot longer than ten hours. Have you talked to the rebuild shop? Post a picture of the cylinder, maybe we can talk you through rebuilding it yourself.

It was leaking externally so I took it into a local shop. this was last summer. I am pretty bad with computer stuff ,I don't know how to post a picture. They fixed the external leak but at about 10hours after the repair it stopped holding the bucket curl.I checked and it is the cylinder that was repaired. Charged me $240 so I won't be doing business with them again.I would rather put a new one on then repair it if I can find one.
