So has anyone ever been able to use the finder mounted cup holder? Unless I am parked it will bounce the drink right out. But it does make a good place to keep a roll of electrical tape

I do but my yard is very smooth. But it rarely get used for drinks anymore. I usually have a pair of work gloves or other misc tools shoved in there.

I've never figured out how anybody mowing can keep a drink in there anyway. There's so much crap flying in the air it would be like drinking dirt.

That's one of the first things I removed from my new Mahindra was the two cup holders. I have used tractors for years and haven't needed one. If I am working and REALLY need something to drink, I make up a 2 quart cooler full of ice water and drink right out of that. Haven't needed a sippy cup for 63 years..... :)

I don't use the cup holder on my L4400 for cups, but I do place my thermos in it. I place a piece of Velcro inside the cup holder and another piece of Velcro on the bottom of my thermos. Works for me.:)

I just sit my drink on something like a fence rail and stop when I want a drink

I suspect the cup holder is a addition by the sales department, NOT the engineering department........

Below should be a photo of the crap holder I had the local weld shop make outO aluminum diamond plate for my Kub's transmission hump (my Kub did not come with a cup holder).

Yes, good winter project makes every following spring, summer fall ect. much easier possibly.

Below should be some fresh fotos of the same trans. hump tool holder and what I ended up placing over my Kub's fender mount cup holder (if I ever had one, I can not remember).

The fender mounted chain saw holder has worked out so well/convenient, I now just keep the Stihl n a small Swedish hand limb saw permanently on the Kub since it is always with me where n when I need it.

Funny, the Stihl's old shelf spot in the garage has long been filled with other stuff.....
