With spring rolling up here fast, I checked the field that's up next for planting trees and kinda was surprised how dry it was.

So, sattled up the cultivator with a spike tooth harrow drag to the XR3140 and did 2-1/2 acres in one setting. Draws still gummy, had to lift the cultivator up a little to not spin down, but with the little scratch'n I did it will dry faster now.

Next will be the culti-weeder in the patches of remaining alfalfa and cut it off by the roots to get rid of it, then the KK tiller for a nice creamy, fine finish for the tree transplanter

I am a little surprised that you can run in Northern ID. Around it is still mud on top of the frost.

Open field with good exposure all day. One good rain and would have not been able to cultivate. It is a little early, due to the lack of water but that's O.K for now, hopefully....
Could use more rain, did not get much snow here this winter. But I have seen 3/4 of an inch of wet snow march 31 before too!!
Must take the opportunities to work the dirt when offered. A lot must happen in about two months time between working the dirt, planting trees, spraying for weeds and bugs

Our winter was a complete joke this year. One good snow storm that dropped a few inches, then warmed up. Plenty of rain, but very warm winter. Not surprised you're able to get out so early. Make hay while the sun is shining... or something.

I plowed my driveway in January I believe it was for the first time this winter...
