ok,I have a cub cadet hds 2185.It will start up and run fine,but if I shut it off and then try to restart it after 5 minutes or so,it wont start.Now if I shut it off and then re start it immediately,it will start up.After 20 minutes or so,it will start up again.Thinking coil?

Check fuel filter, fuel line routing ?
Almost sounds like a vapor lock after it sits for a few and gets hotter then when you let it cool off it starts again? Like metioned check you fuel line routing and try to keep it away from any heat source!
dont think so.Sometimes it has to set for hours before it starts.Even when I spray starter fluid in the carb it wont start.I checked the spark plug for spark,which it has,buy dont know if its hot enough.
It seems like it draws a lot from the battery when cranking it over,as it seems to pull from the battery,and has just enough to start it.It is a new battery.same thing with my bump starter.
