Cub Cadet 7305
Thank you in advance for your web site I can see already it will help me with my newest yard toy, Cub Cadet 7305 with Front loader and back box blade. I live in Opelika AL and my wife and my self operate a small Tool and Die shop on our property.

I earned the Tractor by offering to fix the windowed block mess that had been sitting Idle and in boxes for 4 years.

The block was easy for me to fix and I restored the 200 hour almost new tractor to operational in about 40 hours worth of work.

I still have one issue that has stuimped me. When I attach the front end loader it works perfect but the rear three point will not raise up unless I bump the front end loader. Then it will raise up to the position I had previously moved the depth gage hadle to. I thought I may have had a diverter valve issue so I turned the spool over 180 degrees and it changed nothing. When the front end loader is unplugged from the diverter valve the rear 3 point works as normal no issues.

Has any one else had similar issues with this tractor?

Thank you,

Beezer1

When you take the loader off, do you remove the FEL valve?

I sounds like you may have some hoses crossed. Maybe the PB and the tank hose.

Check the routing. The flow should be something like this, pump, FEL valve, then PB out to 3pt. The tank port of the FEL valve should go to tank.

Thanks for the speedy reply JJ.

I am not much on Hydraulics terms, so I will respond and appologize for my lack of understanding the lingo.

The diverter valve is permanently mounted to the tractor with two Pressure out Quick disconnects and One return hose.

From the pump I have a hard line feeding the diverter valve. I don't doubt that something may be plumbed wrong I just don't know what to call the Parts.

So I will submit some pics today for you to look at.

Thanks

The hard line in the back top of this valve body is from the pressure side of the pump. The bottom left has the returm to tank and the center back has pressure back to rear valve body under the seat. All of the hard lines had specific fittings that appearded to only fit in one place. I will review to see if possible swappimg can be done .

The top hose has a T beside it, so that is the tank hose. There should be stamped letters elsewhere on the valve of the hyd block

Follow that hose and see if it is going to tank.

Having two male QD connectors together will allow mistakes. When you get it figured out, reverse one of the QD sets so there can be no mistake, or color code them.
