Hello,
I bought my first cub cadet this week. I looked at Lowe's at the 1000 series. I decided to go to the local dealer and look also. He had several leftover cubs. I have less than an acre to mow so I decided to go with the 1515. He said that the 1515 was a better quality tractor than the 1000 series that Lowes carries. He also carried the same ones Lowe's carries for the same price. Does anyone know if this is true? Any information you have on the cub cadet 1515 good or bad would be appreciated. Also, I paid 1825.00 for it. Did I pay too much. I can't find any info on what they sell for. Evidently they don't make that model anymore.
