Cub 7195 Worth?

Ran across a Cub Cadet 7195 today. It has 650 hrs and is not beat looking at all. Seems to run and drive fine. Has a 5' deck and nothing else. The oil is a little sludgy looking but maybe this is par for a diesel?? Never had one. Dealer said it was a 2000 model but my impression was the last of these was around '97? Anyway he wants $7K. My gut says too high but I'm kind of a cheapo so I need some unbiased advice on price....What might be a fair offer on such a machine?? All thoughts appreciated!

Look at this link to a 1999 with just over 300 hours with FEL and 5' deck, HST. $8995.00 asking price.

These are the only two I could find.
I checked some of the used pricing listings but could not find this model. According to one site, this tractor was not made after 1999, but here you see one supposedly from 1999. Who knows? John
EDIT: I did find a pricing listing that is for a 1994 model only.

I think they only made them in 1994. If it is 4WD and has a loader, the asking price is reasonable /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

By the way, you see this all the time with tractors. The seller either doesn't know the year, or they want it to sound newer than it really is. It works in reverse for antiques. Trust me on this... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It looks from this site that it is a 1994 model not 2000.
