cub 2176 reverse mowing?

How do I disable the reverse mowing pto Kill on my mower......this is very aggrevating feature.........someone please help. I've look all over the net. By the way this mower is shaft drive if that makes any difference.

Crawl under while you or someone works the reverse pedal. Watch where a paddle on the reverse pedal linkage presses against a button switch when the reverse pedal is pressed. #1 you can reposition the paddle such that it can't make contact with the swich. #2 disconnect the electrical connector to the switch and jumper the connector. Of course keep the kids and pets in the house when you mow with these safety features bypassed!! Set it back to normal if someone else uses the mower! (yeah right.. I'm Mr.Safety)
