Cub 1863 Broken Trans axle mounting bolts

My dealer says that this is a common problem. Anyone else had this problem? Was it Difficult to fix.

Do you mean the bolts that attach the frame to the rear end?

my 2182 broke the mouting bracket

We have had to put stronger bolts as well as extra reinforcement into that area to keep them in place. When pulling heavy loads they can give problems and it is wise to watch them as the more room they have to move the more problem they will be.

To call it a transaxle? That is wrong as it is one of the strongest axles ever put into a garden tractor.
