Which pins are you referring to? The pin that keeps both halves of lacings connected or the pins that hold lacings to belts? If it's the one that hold lacings to belt correct method is to cut belt off just behind lacing then install new lacing utilizing the correct tool. Belt to be cut off square so belt will track straight
