My CT230 won't hold a charge and requires a jump start every time I use it. The battery is the original Bobcat battery and I don't see any markings on what size it is for replacement. What CCA should I get?

Mine was group size 24. I just replaced it with an optima blue top hoping I would avoid any of the acid leaking issues that I had in the past. The cold cranking amps on the Optima were far higher than the stock bobcat battery I had in there. Have only had it in there about a month but so far no problems. It fit right in.

I recommend an AGM (absorbent glass mat) which is a non liquid dry cell. It's a heavier, more expensive battery but it will never leak and never freeze. Worth the extra cost by far.

MY 2011 group 24 on my CT 235 is still going strong - its the positive cable connection that eroded out. Thin copper ring connected to the terminal. Cheap

Anyone have a specific AGM battery that they recommend, and a source?

I bought a Optima from advance auto. It Fit well and has worked well so far and no more leaking acid. It has only been in about 2 months.
