CT 440 Brush Hog size?

I have a 72" flail mower that I use but would like to get a wider brush hog also for general mowing mainly grass it does get thick at times. Just wondering how wide could/should I go? have seen some nice correctly priced 10-15 ft mowers. Just dont want to buy something that is to big to handle

A 7' model like the Woods BB84X would be a nice match for your needs. Here is a link to the spec sheet:

Personally I would limit it to a 6' model for use on brushy areas. A 7' would be fine if you're primarily maintenance mowing in grassy areas. Any bigger would be more than your tractor will want. That's my .02.

Bobcat makes a 72" Slip Clutch and Shear Bolt unit... Check out your Bobcat dealer he might be able to get you a good deal on one... I have a 72" Slip Clutch on my CT335 and it works great!

Whats the difference betwn slip clutch and the regular. I got a 72" with my 440 and it doesn't cut worth a durn. I personally don't like it. My previous 335 had the 60" and that sucker was SOLID and cut well. This 72" is not near well built as the 60"
