Loader CT 225 loader bolt.

Snapped off one of the bolt heads on my loader bracket. Had to remove the whole bracket to get it out. Getting ready to try to find a replacement they look like fine threads and hardened bolts

I believe they are M14x1.25, but check that. Grade 10.8, similar to Grade 8 SAE. Nothing
special. A good hardware store or Fastenal will have them.

You can drill out the old bolt with a cobalt bit and use an easy-out.

Yep found them locally no problem as you said. Kind of surprised it broke to be honest. Hopefully it was just a defective bolt.
It seems like a pretty good design but I definitely do put my loader to the test at times.
Every once in a while I would hear a fairly loud pop when I had a fairly heavy load on the loader and never could find it. I'm wondering if this had something to do with it time will tell.

I got my 225 1+ago. 130hrs on it.
Have used it a lot moving dirt, rock, trees, etc.
Then digging a hole to bury my horse.
Noticed the whole loader shaking when using it.
Lost one bolt all the others were 1/2-3/4
out.
So I quickly took out blue loctite, and reinstalled.
Never found that bolt, figuring it's with the horse.
Now I know size to get one, Thanks for the reminder.
Also just changed hydro fluid.
My lower filter turned by hand.
She was ready to start leaking.
Checking other things now!

All new equipment needs to have bolts checked in the first few hours of use. In your
case, perhaps the bolt broke when the other ones got loose. It may have been carrying
most of the load.

Or, it could have been a defective bolt, as you say, or perhaps even over-torqued by the
installer.

I could have over tightened it. I have checked and tightened them up several times as per advice on this forum.
This has been a great tractor. Just about the perfect size for me.
