Thank you. Karen's youngest is going to be married there in June, but instead of using the gazebo for the ceremony, they want to be in a stand of trees in front of the gazebo and then use the gazebo for dancing.

Don't know what your winters are like, but I imagine the zipline isn't seeing much action. Looking forward to more pictures of the additions/improvements and activities around your lake and gazebo! Again... incredibly well done!!!

Thanks. I removed trolley after the wedding and nobody has been on the zip line since then. I've mowed around there a few times and every time I come real close to taking my head off when I get to where the cable is anchored. I have some orange tape on it to make it more visible, but that's still not enough. I need to come up with something more noticeable before I get into trouble.

Could you remove the grass from that area and replace it with wood chips or sand?

Get some orange pex tubing and put over the cable. Will make it visible and safer if you do bump into it

Why not hang a pair of very fancy red knickers on it, Eddie. Tell Karen that it was my idea (I have broad shoulders)

PEX sounds like a great idea!!!! I have some 3/4 red PEX sitting around that I just have to slit to slide over the cable. Orange paint faded really fast, and the surveyors tape slide to the low end, faded and started to disintegrate.

jix,

Nice to hear you are ready for the snow. I think having a cab would be a must have for dealing with winter. Congratulations on your timing!!!!

Slit a pool noodle and slide it over the cable.
Get a bright colored one so you can see it.
The foam will cushion the head bumps.
