Thank you. Our long term goal is to create a venue that we can rent to others who want to get married there. This winter, when the weather permits, we will be working on getting power and water out there, and then finishing off the road and parking lot. Then converting the bottom portion of my deer blind into a bathroom. Once that is all done, I feel we'll be ready to offer it as a low cost wedding venue for a year or two. Then we will build the event center and increase our rates.

Sounds like a great plan... I like the two story blind with bathroom, what a luxury! From the photos, it shouldn't be hard at all to rent such a spectacular venue for weddings, reunions, etc. A surreal place.

Is there going to be a TBN wedding discount? I hope I didn't jinx myself, I just got through a 3 year divorce.

I just happened upon your thread today and to say the least I am very impressed. The lake and you're recent marriage compliments all the hard work you have put into this project. All the best, and may the Good Lord shine upon you and you're family.
