I noticed the crankcase breather seems to be a hose from the top of the valve cover that exits below the engine on my BX 23. Shouldn't there be a filter on that? Most breather move air both in and out depending on the location of the piston. Is there a reed valve in the valve cover that only lets air out but not in? Maybe someone who has had the valve cover off would know. Thanks, Richard
