cracked steering unit

I have a mahindra 2014 emax. First the hose blew on the left side for steering. I replaced the hose then the steering unit cracked. Any ideas on what is wrong.

1st thing I'd recommend is to check steering system psi.

Did you have to remove more than one hose to replace the blown hose? If yes triple check to make sure that you have all of the hoses connected correctly.
