cracked fender on 2006 tc40

anyone had a problem with the fenders cracking found new crack at the attachment where the plate and step conect. shouldn't this still be under warranty. there is no evidence of any dammage suspect weak area when climbing on tractor?

I'm not sure I understand where your crack is. The steps (metal) on my tractor attach to the bottom of the platform (metal). There is no attachment to the fender. However, the metal platform bolts to the fiberglass fender and that area could be a likely location of a stress crack. I would say your tractor is definitely under warranty for that type failure. I'd talk to my dealer right away.

If you have your tractor financed, you probably also have insurance on it. There might be a deductible amount, but that would cover that kind of problem even if it was due to a bump or something falling on the fender. I'd sure check on all my options because that crack will probably just get worse.

yes sir that is where it's at don't have my tractor talk back yet, I am purchasing this used but the warranty is transferable, so I plan on having this fixed first as I assume it will only get worse with time

If you haven't purchased it yet why not have the current owner at least report the problem to the selling dealer where you should have a better chance of a hassle free repair.
