If you are really paying $55 a gallon then it's time to look for a new source of UTD. A 5 gallon bucket of SUDT2 costs me less than $120.

Don,t have a problem paying my local dealer $55 bucks per gal. Keeps them in business and me happy to support them in case I need parts and service after the sale.Thanks anyway.

Yes, it is the Hydrostatic filter that is the expensive one. I paid about $80 last time. It is very heavy duty, Very thick steel for a filter and has a large O ring for a seal. It doesn't operate at full Hydrostatic pump pressure,(4978 psi) but it does operate at Charge pump pressure which is 256 psi. The regular hydraulic filter is a suction filter and is priced and built accordingly.

Buying from my dealer may not be the least expensive way to go, but I feel it is the best value. There assistance and advise have value to me. If they weren't in business I would have to go a long ways for help.

Bought a full set of filters from my dealer last week and the discussion of break in oil, filter micron, and comments from his meetings with kioti were worth any difference in price.

Be very careful out there when ordering Kioti filters online. There are counterfeit, cloned filters out there. You may think your ordering a genuine Kioti oem filter but receive a substitute. It happened to me!

Counterfeiting happens with every brand of filter , oil and fasteners. Purchasing your parts at Bargain Bobs is riskier than purchasing at the dealership.
