When it takes more than a 12 pack, you need to have some self esteem.
 :drink: Yes!

Ahhh you guys just care too much about guns. Probably because you're allowed to have those too easily. Different mindsets between continents I guess.
Shall we get ready for the Corona Virus #6?[b/]
On another note, why I keep seeing in the news the Americans just rushing to buy weapons and ammo? Are they expecting to shot the virus or what?
I hadn't noticed the 'eight weeks' before. This gives us some idea what to expect.
"Governor Newsom wrote. "In some parts of California, our case rate is doubling every four days. we have community acquired transmission in 23 counties with an increase of 44 community acquired infections in 24 hours. We project that roughly 56 percent of our population 25.5 million people will be infected with the virus over an eight week period."
From what I have learned in the past 12 hours I expect CA and NY are just two canaries in the coal mine. It is like someone walking with rake full of burning grass through tall dry grass with 40 MPH winds blowing. I am feeling fine but it has not even been 24 hours since my first known risk that I learned about 3 hours ago.
TN is one of those "God is in control so let come what may" states that is running full speed ahead. Nashville visitor not only was in a 150 person church service before testing positive but also was the current link to an active hospital employee that now has tested positive. My potential exposure came through the visitor last Sunday. My wife exposure risk came through an a person that was a secondary infection form the Nashville visitor and we are only day 5 from the 150 person last Sunday.
Who knows what the first wave is going to look like but I expect the 3rd, 4th many shut down the system's ability to cope with the number of cases if many require hospital care.
Hopefully this will be over soon but that would be a total surprise at this point in time. If we had locked down last week instead of this week things might be more positive but at this point it is a wait and see event. Until my potential link to the virus tests positive I may be just fine. When it jumped from the primary host to the secondary (local) host one can expect a little better.
If a lock down last week had been honored by that churches leadership and the hospital had of had a no visitor policy last week like they started two days ago I might have been helpful but there is not concrete way to know what "could have been".
Give the social distancing measures 3-4 weeks and see if that helps is my thought today. This stuff kills as we know so we need to respect it.

Gale I lived that way for over 2 years (late 60's early 70's) I have no problem staying away . . .and folks don't take that as political.
I don't understand the fixation with respirators. If you get covid19, at this point, a ventilator is not a magic bullet. ICU/critical care intervention does little to prevent a bad outcome (dead), at best, 10% of those patients survive, can t find data on discharge rate for said patients.
If you end up in ICU/ventilated, prognosis not promising.
