You must live in extremely southern Maine on the shore. My best friend lives in Stockton Springs which is about halfway between Bangor and Bar Harbor and he still has snow on the ground. In fact, I'll be getting my infusion of Maine seed potatoes again this year from him. Great spuds and they keep very well in the root cellar along with carrots and all the canned stuff like you know what and spaghetti sauce and beets. Just had some for dinner, the red variety with Kielbasa and perogi's.

It is a nice area, just too congested for me. My sister lives just up the road in Winterport.

Costco yesterday, Brighton Mi.: 1 hour wait in line to buy frozen meals, dog food, Ensure, peanut butter, milk, and bread. Woman in line ahead of me had only 1 item: a makeup kit !

BTW: I have plenty of winshield washer fluid on hand. 70% alcohol. Spray bottle. Wash my hands and face with it, even after fueling the cars.

Yes, things in USA will very likely be worse before getting better. Whether or not "worse" means a total lockdown like France, Spain & Italy, only time will tell.

People who have stocked up over time like myself and others have denied no one the ability to get theirs. The store simply restocks at a given point of stock depletion.

That being said there are selfish idiots that think nothing of grabbing all they can even if its not needed, during times of shortages.

The grocery hoarding will come to an end soon, as most people have no way to store the perishables. Found out tonight that my BIL bought $600 worth of groceries due to the crisis. This man has one refrigerator and no freezer just like a lot of people. Once the mold and spoilage starts reality will set in.

Just read Walmart will be cutting it's hours at their 24 hour stores starting Monday to close them from 11:00pm to 6:00am to allow their employees time to restock at clean.

UH... you don't want to do that.. WW fluid has Methanol commonly known as Methyl Alcohol. It is poisonous to humans. And it is not just poisonous by ingestion. It sinks right into your skin. You don't want much skin contact if you can prevent it.
