:thumbsup: As I pointed out in an earlier link (possibly in an earlier coronavirus thread) You can make your own with alcohol and aloe.

It needs to be over 60% alcohol to work. So using Vodka is out. Need something stronger. Everclear or rubbing alcohol.

May be old info but several covid19 research sites indicate virus may be spread by Breathing only, coughing/sneezing not required due to exceptionally high viral loads, specifically upper respiratory tract (mouth, nose, throat) of infected patients, who may be asymptomatic.

I was wondering that myself, looked a bit earlier and previously we had one case in Marion county, looked to be around Stayton, and the rest in Washington county, probably Hillsboro. Now they just have one red dot somewhere in Oregon that says 14 cases.

Has anyone heard why the John Hopkins site changed their mapping so counties are no longer being tracked? Just states now... I'm wondering if some government agency pressured them. The site WAS awesome in that I knew how close cases were to me. I'm assuming most of you are already aware of the site.

Your link is changing also. It used to give the counties in Texas where the cases were, now it only gives in the state no specific county. What is going on?

I thought I had 13 new cases right next to me before I realized they just put a dot in the center of the state. That is the same 13 in Harris, Fort Bend county and in San Antoino.

On the news last night, there was some angst due to misreporting of confirmed cases. Local county has none, but the state had us listed as having one.. There has only been one in eastern Washington to my knowledge and it was Grant County (Quincy) and she was 80 and died in Wenatchee (Chelan county).. The rest were in the Seattle area (Kirkland mostly). I don't think they know how to list someone that lives in one city, is getting treatment somewhere else, etc.. Knowing our governor, it has to do with who gets funding for what.

of course you could just drink it. :laughing: you'd still catch coronavirus but you wouldn't care.

i used to drink it straight back in my late teens and early 20s. surprised i didn't die of alcohol poisoning.

nobody panicking here. only one grade school closed until a staffer gets checked.

we've had several schools closed due to flu this year and one school district closed due to too many bus drivers out with flu.

but no panic here yet.

I would choose to drink it . . . the rum.

I just used the ArcGis Model and it is still tracking country/region/state.

You need something with higher alcohol content - Everclear. 190 proof. But many states ban this product. It's what we used to make High Bush Cranberry liquor. And wild Raspberry liquor.

Went to Stanford today, the largest city in our county, and its small. Its located 40 miles from the closest known infection.
The toilet paper section of wal mart was about wiped out, to coin a phrase. Of course no hand sanitizer. Every bottle of alcohol was gone. The strange part was that all of the sanitizing wipes were gone but the spray bottles of the same were still there. Convenience comes first in a crisis I guess.

Stopped by the local family dollar, tons of toilet paper, sanitizing wipes and the alcohol section appeared untouched. But the sanitizer was gone.

Governor just announced that we have 8 cases now. 5 of those had contact, but he wouldn’t discuss how at this time.
