I don't know how your tractor is set up but the coolant reservoir should have a hose coming from the radiator and one exiting it for a vent and overflow. If the vent hose is kinked or sealed some how it could build enough pressure to blow the cap off.
Sounds like either your cap or radiator needs to be replaced. One of the two is not made correctly. A radiator cap should never pop off, it has a safety feature so that if you try to remove it when preasure is built up the cap and steam will not hit and burn you. I'm sure the dealer will get you a new cap to try first (as it's easy and cheap).
I'm voting for a pinched or kinked overflow tube too!
You might need to take off the engine cowl to see it well enough... Not hard but a tad tricky the first time.
