I removed my FEL and added a front snow plow. I don't understand hydraulic terminology so I'm confuzzeled as to what kind of control valve I need to install. All I want to happen is for the plow to move left and right as needed.

If removing your FEL has left your valve behind (it does on my tractor) then you have a valve, just plumb hoses to the cylinder. Otherwise you need a simple D/A valve.

You'll need to raise and lower the plow too right?

Your loader should come off like this video shows, notice the joystick valve stays with the tractor so you'd hook your plow to the couplers just like the loader was hooked up, this will give you up/down and left/right control of your plow blade.
