I have a MF1464 loader with a CV432 control value. When I first start up and idle the tractor all controls seem fine. At operational RPMs however the "float" can't be used - pushing forward on the joystick becomes harder and harder. Other controls are normal. If I continue working sometimes the loader will go to fully raised position on it's own. Scared the crap out of me the first time. When that happens I pretty much have to shut down to lower the loader arm. Most of the time I can continue working but lowering the arm requires a fairly hard push on the joystick. Am I looking at just replacing seals in the controller, which I can probably manage myself, or should I just bite the bullet and take it to a pro?

Here is your valve.

Have you removed the can on the bottom of the valve and inspected cleaned everything?

If your valve is cable operated, youmnight check to see if the cables are letting the lever return to neutral.

A lot of valves do not even have seal, just a precision fit, with no spool replacement.

Look at the load check vales also.
