Control lock sensor clearance issue when console is seated for operation...

Hey Folks, Looking for some advice or improvement suggestions for my Bobcat324, the Control lock sensor clearance when console is seated for operation seem to have developed some spacing on both sides due to the roller bearing wear out...i did replace bearing on one side of the console which works fine during normal weather, but during cold weather it acts up. If i strap the console down with the base using a ratchet then it works fine. I feel there could have been a better design that BC could have chosen. Otherwise its a great machine and i love using it. Anyone here used any improvements..Appreciate. Thanks.
