Backhoe Control hose swap???

Hey all,
New guy here with a question about my friends 447 backhoe attachment.

He's run nothing but excavators before, and now he has this 447 attachment, and it is pretty funny watching him try to dig or do anything with it. He can't get his brain to work that way I guess. I can run it pretty well considering I have only run excavators or SAE control equipment.

He wants to know if we can switch the hoses around and make it function like excavator controls?

I believe the answer is yes. I know it has been done with Kubotas.

I learned on a backhoe and had difficulty when I first started using excavator style controls. After a few days I was able to switch back and forth without difficulty. I suggest a little more practice before switching hoses.

As long as the hoses are the same size. They can be swapped.

JD excavators come with instructions for switching the controls from JD to NON JD style, not sure of the name if it's called SAE.
