I have this problem with the LA301 loader on my B1700 Kubota.
The dump cycle does not stop. When the bucket is filled and raised to travel position, the dump cycle does not stop it slowly dumps the bucket to full dump position. I am thinking that this is probable a control valve issue. Any response would be appreciated. "reweld"

Isolate whether it's valve or cylinder by switching the boom cylinder hoses with the dump cylinder hoses. If the boom slowly goes down, problem is valve. If bucket still dumps, it's the cylinder.

Yup! That is the best, cheapest and easiest way to do it.
