CONTEST- 250,000 Posts-When, Where, & Who?

Someone may have to help me here, but yes there was a change. While it may take you longer to get to Platinum, a lot of us was able to keep our status on the lower ones. In other words I kept my gold when I didn't have enough. Like MJB he kept his Platinum ever though he isn't there yet. When he gets to 500 he will still be Platinum. Why the levels changed, I don't know. I just noticed that they did change a while back.

Suppose instead of a contest, the honor was bestowed on Bird. At the point the posts approach 250,000, posting stops until Bird enters 250,000. What's the difference? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I don't know. How about, for a wild guess, maybe the posts that have been deleted, either by the original author, or a moderator, aren't included at the top of the page, but did use a message number when they were posted? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

We go by the number at the top of the page... that's the total posts not counting those deleted.
