Considering GT3200 w/ 54 in deck

We recently picked up a 3200 that had ~600 hours on it with a 60" deck, a 54" blade and a 2 stage blower for under $4k. Need to find a cab before winter (will probbaly go with the "Original Tractor Cab" as they seem to be decently priced)
We used the blade to spread some dirt and it does well. The 60" deck is nice, but the deck height control is slightly wonky. Need to dig into it one of these days.

Are they done with the 25xx's as well?

Word was the 2100 are to replace the 2500s. There's no way they can still market both of them if a 2544 costs substantially less than a 2100 with a 44" deck.

Word. My 2544 was $3799 3 years ago (pays off in August) and the same shop wants $6799 (I think) for a new 2154LE. Even taking off a few $$ for a 44" vs a 54", the 21xx are much more expensive.

You can't compare the 2154LE to the 2500's. The 2154LE includes power steering as well as the power lift that the 2100's include. The 2500's have neither. The 2154LE is more a replacement for the 3000's, minus the optional diff-lock.

The GT2000 is the direct replacement for the outgoing 2500's. The regular GT2100 was originally meant to be a blinged-out 2000 with power steering and deck lift as well as a couple other minor cosmetic stuff, but supply issues with the power steering system nixed that idea. What is puzzling is that the regular 2100's haven't been reduced in price since they removed the power steering. As it stands, the 2100 costs about $1500 more than the 2000, and all you get is electric deck lift, tilt steering, and access to the optional fab'd decks.

That's true.

Per the website, current sale price for a GT2000 is $3099, plus the cost of a deck. Of course they don't have the deck pricing available online, but I'd like to think a 44" would be around $400-600, making total cost comparable to a 2544.

I'm guessing this 'deck is extra' scheme is a way for a dealer to make a few more dollars on the sale.

I'm going to look into Simplicity's at this point. The nearest Cub GT 3200 is in Montana 500 miles away
