Considering a Satoh Beaver S-370D 4wd purchase

I have a 370 and the 3pt arms are stuck in the up position. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Gringo9000, you may have better luck getting specific help by starting your own thread asking this question. However, frequently the lift piston can become stuck in the cylinder bore due to corrosion, and lock in the up position. I've broken them free by putting a lot of weight onto the lift arms, or prying down on them with a sturdy bar. Good luck!

My 3 point lift cylinder was stuck when I bought my tractor. I had to disassemble the top of the case, whack out the cylinder with a brass punch, and hone (very slightly) the top of the bore. Everything seems to be working ok for now. You don't need to drain the case of gear lube to do this but likely it is old and water contaminated anyway so you may as well.
