Atmospheric pressure, or barometric pressure of the air around us, is 1 bar, or 1 kg per square centimeter. Which equals 10 meter of water column.

Compressing 2 cubic meter of air at atmospheric pressure, to 1 bar over atmospheric pressure, you will end up with 1 cubic meter at 1 bar because p x v is constant. I think its Boyle's law.

So, if you need 10 CFM and 50 psi, you will need a compressor with 500 CFM displacement volume. (How many feet of water column that relates to, i dont know because pounds and inches arent connected to the density of water)
